Hi Tim,

Actually we are both right! ICD's product lets you download 1000 games a week,
but Chess Assistant's "extra data service" is 2000 games a week! To wit:

The database included contains 1,160,000 games (up to Jan. 1, 2000), of which
5,000 are commented. A great deal of effort went into cleaning the headers,
moves, and of course removing duplicates, and as such, is perfect as a reference
database. In order to help maintain the quality of the database, and keep it
up-to-date, 1,000 new games can be downloaded every week directly into Chess
Assistant. Or if you really can’t afford to miss a thing, Chess Assistant offers
a special subscription service that offers over 2000 games weekly via e-mail or
direct download.

Let's not quibble about through Dec. 1999 vs. to Jan. 2000 ok? :-)
