I don't think that is necessarily true even though Gandalf isn't better than
Fritz at blitz. The increment you used is too small considering the quirks of
the WinBoard adapter IMHO. Sergio used WinBoard where there's no response
problem caused by delay. Just an impression though.

I ran a 10'+5'' match against without ponder against Nimzo 8, which ended 25-25.
Given the hardware difference, only 800MHz Athlon and no ponder, the timecontrol
is similar to your except for the increment.
