Yes, I totally forgot,you are absolutely right, it hit the stores quite quickly after the DOS version I remember. My version is V 1.04 and is indeed from 1995. The program leans heavily on the graphics, the animations (also under DOS) were quite impressive. In the meantime they created a strong chess engine most people overlooked. A bit like the Power Chess engines. They should have taken more time running it stable and without some ugly Interface bugs. The 3D-board in VCII is one of those examples. Beautiful yet "virtally" unplayable. Too bad. Jeroen ;-}
