I read another one that has someone worse than anyone who plagued r.g.c.c. There is a guy who forges post headers in order to try to make it look like other people are making racist and anti-semitic comments, and so on. And once when I was trying to get help dealing with someone who was attacking CCC, I posted in a usenet group that seemed devoted to the topic of combating net cranks. It became apparent, after a few days of reading that group, that they had their own resident asshole. I don't think that my maxim that each usenet group is always plagued by at least one asshole is true, but I do think that it is almost true. bruce
