You are right, I supposed wrongly that you only used the engine. There *was* a way out without patching the buggy interface, and that was renaming the file to fritz6b.exe and editing it with a hex editor where every fritz6 string should be replaced by fritz6b, keeping the same string length, which is possible - because there was an extra space. That sentence is way too long, sorry - I got carried away. Well, in that case you can use the new engine in the old GUI, provided you reinstall it. I can't find the hex editor anymore so maybe someone else can doublecheck possible nonsense. Jeroen ;-}
