I have only used Pocket Chess 1, not the newer 2, but to get it to play a decent game, I had to let it think a fairly long time. Maybe this has been improved with 2, I can't say. The downside of this is that it eats batteries quite a bit. Chess Genius is much stronger and can play a challenging match (for a patzer like me) using very little time and so batteries last a lot longer. - Steve
