My computer doesn't have a sound card, and Chessmaster works fine in general. Sound and modem are combined on this HP Pavilion 6545C with a Celeron 500, and are software controlled not hardware controlled. Rockwell HCF 56K Data Fax PCI Modem and Master Riptide PCI Audio Device. QP
