The opening book is made to be facing any opponent human and computers, so use
the tournament for best book, standard for a higher variety and wide for highest
variety.
If you are a very strong player I suggest the tournament book which is wide
enough, below 2200 you can use the standard one and below 2000 the wide one may
be the most fun to play.
