The dump file in Shredder is the file that contains the textual output, like the analysis lines and all commentary that is given in the engine status window. The lines are "dumped" as txt-format in that file. Most of the times in computer terminology the word dump file is used in that way: to make output available in readable format, say if your program hicks up and you want to see what went wrong, which module went wrong. If you run Windows and start it up asking for the boot screen with F8, you'll see the possibility of the creation of a file named bootlog.txt, it's a file in which the startup sequence of windows is dumped in text format. Seeing it makes you wonder why Windows has to start 352,617,574,836 files and tasks just to crash in a minute all the same. Like that. Dump files. Jeroen ;-}
