We must be doing evaluations differently. I followed your line. The
material balance is white R+B+N vs. black Q+P and black will win another
pawn. I evaluate it to about +0.5 for black.

I think there's a better line for black by 7... Qf2+ 8. Kb3 Qxh4 now
white has nothing better than 9. Nxe6 fxe6 10. exd6 Bc6.

It's hard to believe that this is the object of Rfc8 though.
