I don't see it as being hopeless. Why should it be? If chessmaster is being
reviewed all over the place, than I say so should all the other programs out
there, and with good reason. Why should the hard working chess programmers of
Tiger, Rebel, Fritz, Shredder, Nimzo etc.. get less publicity? You talk about
how these programs are for the experts and enthusiasts only. Says who? I don't
see on the Rebel page that this program are for experts only. I'm sure the
author of these chess programs have no problem what-so-ever selling there
products to newbies, or the less chess informed. It doesn't matter who you sell
your product to, so long as you sell them.

I understand where you are comming from here, and you do bring up a good
example.  I just think that people need to know that chessmaster isn't the only
chess product that they can buy, and that there are other alternatives out
there.
