Even if they do know, why would any newbie or so called mass market person spent
3 or more times what you could buy chessmaster for.

I can buy CM for $50 Aus, if I want Shredder it is up around $180 Aus, Fritz is
$95 Aus, Rebel $95 Aus.

Not many people like Chess program to begin with, at least Chessmaster makes it
attractive to people. The other programs are very clean, but not very attractive
to mums and dads wanting a pretty program to buy their kids for Christmas.
