Whats the principal difference between these two strong engines? I test the two versions in 2 computers K7 800 Mhz for about 12 hours today. in total : 50 games, (5 minutes +7 seconds of increment bor both sides. A final score was : 23.5 points for Crafty17-13 and 26.5 for Crafty17-14. Almost the same result. Many Draws... and a slight advantage for 17-14. I think that Crafty play very very good in the endgame. Posible one of the best chess program playing endgames. Too a great blitzer!!! I love this program. Could The best Crafty version win the same World Championship that CrayBlitz won? I mean Crafty running in the fastest today machine -Atlon 1000 Mhz or more. I will like to see a match between Cray Blitz and Crafty.
