I used to be quite skeptical about the claim that some programs must play at slow time controls in order to do their best relative to others, but in the games I played last Summer with Shredder 4.22 it did clearly better at the slow London time controls than at 40/20. On the other hand, Bertil posted that Shredder does very well at blitz, and if there is a tester I trust as much as myself this is Bertil, so... Also Gandalf 4.32g performs much better in my games at slow time controls, while the different flavors of Fritz and Tiger couldn't care less, and Hiarcs 7.32 is better at blitz than at 40/120. Just to make the life of testers easy. :) Enrique
