Subject: Tiger and Rebel .mvs books: Does it really work?

I tried to use the Rebel.mvs or any other mvs book (like gambit.mvs) with Rebel
Tiger. I can load it as GUI book, but if I use it alone (without any *.bk book
in the book list), the GUI shows no opening moves and calculates right the first
move. Is there something wrong with my installation or have others the same
problem?

Has anyone really successfully used a rebel (mvs) book so far?
