As I wrote in an earlier message I read a review of Excalibur LCD chess on http://www.chesscafe.com/ There they gave an example of its playing: 1. e4 c6 2. d3 e5 3. f4 Bb4+ 4. c3 exf4 In other word it gave away a bishop for a pawn. Of course I didn't want to buy the LCD chess after that. But now I have thought of it. There was no word about on which level it does so. Perhaps it was a beginner level although they said it was not so when I asked. In that case I think it is wrong to take this as an example in a review. I mean not even a cheap chesscomputer shall do this moves on a little higher level. It could of course also be a bug. I mean that it does such a fault just here and not otherwise. I read that somebody in this newsgroup had this LCD chess. Could he or she tell me on which level in seconds per move or similar it doesn’t do 4…exf4. Can I get a little light on this question? Georg
