Perhaps the game has been less boring than it seemed at first sight. I hope that next games will be as exciting as they was the semifinal game between Shirov and Grischuk (what piece of chess player this 17 years old man!!). Have you been able to give a look to the incredible first and third games of this semi-final?. I have followed these games with the help of my Tiger 12 and Shredder 5 etc. and the only thing I can tell you is that in my opinion -and despite of some surprising mistakes- Shirov can play an enormously creative chess, elevating it at the category of ART, well above all the other chess players in the world. After the disapointing -at least for me- match between Kasparov and Karmnik, I hope that genius Tahl forecast in 1994 that Shirov will be one day the World Champion will be a reality in ten days time... Regards, Tom.
