In another newsgroup was written that Toshiba and another Japanese firm invested
millions in the development of a new generation of hardware.
Will the new generation of PC with microprocessors using laser/crystal lattice
technology be able to use today's software ? Will today's chessprograms be able
to run on tomorrow's hardware ?
When will the new generation of hardware be available? In 2 years ? 5 years ?
8 years ?
