The message that comes up after completing a rated game should always state
something about how your overall AND your time-specific rating was affected.
Sometimes, though, the result of the game doesn't CHANGE your rating, but that
should be mentioned, too.

As for the difference, are you certain that you've only played standard games?
Try this.... Open your "Player Statistics" window (CTRL+7). Go to the "Rated
Games" tab and look at your three ratings for each time type. Are the other two
(blitz and bullet) still 1600 with no games played at all? If so, how many games
have you played on standard?

Then, press the "Vs. Opponent" button. Is your overall rating (displayed in the
"Vs. Opponent" dialog) the same as the one listed in the "Player Statistics"
window under the "Standard" column?
