Hello Paul,
I think I have not played CM8K vs Fritz yet. I did play several hundred games
of both Tigers vs Fritz 6 at G/5min. Both Tigers won and I don't rember exactly
the scores but it came out to about 40 points advantage for Chess Tiger 13. I
also played some 40/60 games but don't have the results right away. I had a
hard disk crash last week and I don't know exactly how much data I lost. My
feeling is that both Tigers are stronger than Fritz 6 at G/5. At 40/60 it was
closer but still advantage for the Tigers. More games were needed at the longer
time controls. But I really wanted to wait for the latest versions of
Fritz/Junior/Hiarcs. I have been testing mostly Shredder 5 the last 10 days. I
ran out of top programs to play it against so last night I played it vs Crafty
17.14 and it won 8.5-1.5 at G/60 minutes.(7 wins 3 draws)
