3 questions:

1) Why do you get a 30 ply pv out of a 14 ply search with only king
moves?
   (no checks etc.)
2) Why does your program think it can force the capture of the a pawn
playing
   Kb2? (you can not)
3) Why, if you think you can force to capture that pawn, are you
evaluating the
   terminal position of this PV as exactly equal to the root position?

Again a capture which cannot be forced, again no notable increase in
evaluation.
