Go up one level in this thread
A year ago I bought a Compaq 750 Athlon, 384MB Ram. It replaced a 266 PII 64MB Ram. I have most of the chess programs (Shredder, Chessmaster, Rebel, Chess Tiger, Fritz family, etc.) including 5 Gig of tablebases, and run a lot of other programs as well. I have had no problems at all, other than typical Win 98 problems.
