Subject: Are there an infinite number of universes?

Tania,

Don't get too excited about numbers like 10 to the 40th power. Think about a
real mind bender like : How many times did the universe recreate or was
recreated and how many parallel universes are there?

If the universe is infinite then we can not know about how many atoms there are.
Each atom has protons, neutrons and electrons etc. The degree of freedom in
terms of location and energy level of each of these particles is almost
infinite.

Mind blower of mind blowers: How do you get something from nothing? Where did
the universe come from? It came from God...and where did God come from....?

Is time infinite? Is time an illusion?

Seriously, however, there is no need to know the number of possibilities of
positions in chess because each of us only lives 70 +/-40 years. What is
important is to be nice to one another and just enjoy moving the pieces around
without throwing them.

Happy Holidays,

Tim Frohlick
