I did post a follow up, on the possibilty that " Quantum Computers " may be able to handle such tremendous amounts of data. However it's speculative at present. We may see such supercomputers capable of dealing with " All Possible Positions " in the next 20 to 50 years. Chess is a game, but also a puzzle and I believe with the right type of technology that puzzle can and almost certainly will be solved. Terry.
