I can see it using IE for registering, but why get the error if he is NOT trying
to register it?

It would make sense if he was actively trying to register it, but he isn't, he
is getting the error just using the program.

When I installed my Nimzo 8, I didn't see it bring up a browser to register the
product. Unless it is doing something else in the background, it doesn't make
sense that he can't use the program, due to a browser dll...

He is only trying to use the product, not register it, so really what version of
IE he has should be irrelevant.

Wouldn't you agree?

This would be a problem if he was starting the program to register it, but it
isn't.
