Fernando, I had a terrible experience with the K6III-450. I was never able to get my system to work right. I tracked the problem back to an incompatibility with the motherboard. One poster suggested that you use a motherboard on AMD's approved list. Do that before you do anything else. I eventually scraped my K6. The box makes for a great magazine rack. I now run an Intel P-III. It runs about 20 degrees cooler and is a solid as a rock. I'll take a processor from the buggy company ... or whatever it is the nutty poster had to say :)
