Diep doesn't play in #8 the move Bh5 but it does see that Bxf3 loses
and plans another move which develops and looks quite good to me too.

#5 is a depth dependant trick. A prog to solve it needs to
see:
  Rxe6 Qxe6
  Re1  Qd6
  Bf4  f5
  Qh3  Qxf4
  Qxh7+ Kf6
  Bxd5  Ne8
  Nd5  something
  mate in qsearch or losing big material.

So it's 13 ply normally spoken
or 12 ply if you have mating extensions turned on.
It *should* be hell of a lot less ply if you have singular
extensions because the first so many moves are completely
forced.
