If all programs assess the position at the end to be very good for black with a shallow search of 8 plies or so, and doesn't choose the line from the beginning after searching 20+ plies, then it must mean that it can't FORCE the position at the end, which means that there is a refutation. It's not like the programs don't see that it is good at the end.
