Subject: Nimzo 8 and its propeietary endgame tablebases

Ok, I have tried everything I could think of and cannot get them to make a bit
of difference. Just in case someone suggests I install them first :-), here is
what I did try:

1. I followed the instructions in the readme on the CD. To the letter.
2. I tried it under Win2k, Win98, NT 4.0
3. I tried it with 512 Mb RAM, with over 384Mb of physical memory available.
4. I tried enabling them one by one, by setting "1" in the .ini file.
5. I set up endgame positions and disabled regular tablebase support.
6. I looked and looked for ANY INDICATION OF THEM BEING USED.
7. I tried placing these files in other directories (engines, Nimzo8, etc.).

...all this in vain. Each time Nimzo8 went through the search exactly the same
way as it did when they were still on the CD (on my bookshelf).

Has anyone actually seen this thing work?
Thanks in advance!
