Today , I receive another e-mail from BKCHESS as following , but I can't believe it again . ============================================================================ <<<<< With openings, middlegames and engames knowledge books turned off for testing purposes, Chess Academy was rated at 2649 ELO on an AMD-Athlon 650 MHz, PC-100 MHz motherboard, 128 MB RAM, under Windows 98 operating system. >>>>> With all of the books enabled, this is what Wit Braslawski at Chess Academy told me the results of the same testing procedure were: Chess Academy 6 shows 2850 rating according to BS 2930 test (opening and middlegame books are enabled) and about 2650 if books are disabled. Therefore I am not surprised that Academy beats Fritz. I hope you will be surprised very soon when Fritz will accidently beat Academy. Also, I can tell you that one of my mailing list members played Chess Academy against Fritz 6b and Chess Academy won! And that was with the Chess Academy 2000 demo version which is not as strong as the new version now available, Chess Academy 6.0 Office. ==============================================================================
