Tim: I do not know a shit about that game you mention. Apart chess programs, the only one non chessic thing I have ever played with zest is Civil War II. Great. I have wargamed dozens of times Gettisburg battle to see if I can handle south troups to victory, but at nmost a draw has been my prize. Seems that the odds are too much againts. The yanquis get all the time reinforcements and so nothing prevails. At last war is a matter of matèriel, as you know well. I tried absolute defensive posture in hills, trenches, lines of artillery and reserve troups to counterttack a weakened attacker; then I tried a fast offensive to get estrategic points and only then to entrench; then a mix odf both.
