It *is* a very fun device, though way expensive.  Reminds me of the very early
Macintosh in many ways -- including the refreshingly small downloads to get lots
of nice, simple games, many free.  For me, though, chess has temporarily moved
to the back burner as I explore all the goodies available.  E.g., you can boost
the speed for free with ClockUpDA, which seems to improve chess benchmarks by a
small amount (e.g., one went from ~ 20 sec. to about ~ 17 sec.).
