Subject: Gandalf for a non winboard fan. Worthy the money?

Sorry for this somewhat heretic statement, I know: I am not a fan of winboard
platform and so I do not use engines fitted for it. Reasons: I do not like the
trouble to configurate each and every engine and I do not like the GUi either.
Tis said, I would like to ask to erudite pals here if Gandalf runs OK in Fritz 6
GUI, if it is simple to configurate there and If the strenght and style of the
program is worth the 30 bucks they ask for it.
