"fair" is subjective. it is FAIR for you.
IMO the ssdf cooperate to much with programmers.
with some. and they don't cooperate with other programmers.
thats IMO NOT fair, it is the opposite of fairness.

right. but they don't do it for other programs.
the problem comes in the different procedure.

thats with almost any patch.
they fix a bug and bring 2 or 3 other improvements into it,
together with some more bugs .

no - in thoralf comments he spoke about chessbase programs having problems
autoplaying. thoralf comment sound as if he is not really believing
that rebel century is weaker due to autoplayer problems.
IMO century3 is affected in strength. all people who have done manual
games, have told in public that they saw a very very strong century.

>Maybe the author is the one who should ask for this, don't you think?

why ?
if the authors decide about this, nobody needs a ssdf-list. then the author
could send the data-material or only the elo-number to the ssdf-people,
and they make a list out of it.

You opinion. For me it is a joke-list.

And the best thing are the comments, especially when they
comment that program XYZ has lost 6 elo points.
very exact this list :-))) - what a comment !
