I have hundreds of hours of work on the internet with chessmaster,,. make that thousands :( But, since i control all of the movetimes, write the opening books, use custom personalities, and create personalities during the games<up to 5x on occasion>, this experience is not representative of cm. The latter can only be done with cm55 or earlier versions. In all of the objective tests that i have run on all versions since cm55, they have ranged from 25% to 100 % slower to given depths, giving the same answers, except for endgames with less than 10 points per side, the latter versions showed some better speed. The point being, dont expect cm to show any better in the SSDF rankings than previously, or even as well, if/when it gets back into the rankings.
