you can - of course - play over the net. you can maybe even play
via warp drive and using the enterprise com-link and uhura !

but - it is possible with the wb (winboard) autoplayer since you
can import winboard engines in chessmaster.

in fact i know several people doing it ... right now.

while i take a shower, chessmaster loses first game against fritz6a.

the question for me is not if the autoplayer works, but which
time-control in chessmaster works.

as usual the program is really buggy.
at least in cm6000 the tournament time-controls worked.
it looks as if cm8000 is a step backwards concerning time-controls.
