So far I have noted the following problems using the "Winboard232b.exe" program to play auto232 games with CM8K. 1. CM8K does not receive/recognize pawn promotions of opponent although the opponent does receive the promotions of CM8K. 2. Multiple games are not possible even in the tournament mode. 3. Chess Tiger 13(CP5) will not play auto232 as black. It will play as white. I have run a few quick games to test CM8K vs some of the other programs I own. The results so far as might be expected are very wild because of the small number of games played. Overall results seem reasonable for small sample. CM8K vs Fritz 6 3.5-0.5 (+3 -0 =1) CM8K vs Shredder5 0.5-3.5 (+0 -3 =1) CM8K vs Hiarcs 7.32 1-3 (+0 -2 =2) CM8K vs Junior 6 3-1 (+2 -0 =2) Totals so far 8-8 (+5 -5 =6) Jim One person posted here that there is another program called "WBchess232.exe" by Chrilly Donninger which solves the pawn promotion. I wish I knew where to get it!
