Hello Thorsten, So far my results have been very mixed. I can only say have patience. I know you have only had the program a short while so take your time in evaluating it. I am trying to do the same. But so far I have played a lot of "short" matches at medium time controls. I can only say CM8K seems to be on par with most of the programs I have but no way to say if it's better or worse than any particular program. Unlike you, I can't look at the moves and make a decision about the program. I have to see many games and have some real data. This is mostly because I am a very poor chess player. I have played 2 games vs Shredder 5 at a time control of Game/5 hours. Shredder won the first and the second was a draw. As usual CM8K used a lot less time than Shredder. I'm still not convinced that the Fischer/Sudden death time controls are Ok. Jim
