Hi G.R.
Go to "Winboard Forum" and follow the very top of the page,as how to configure
"Winboard".There are different settings for different engines.
I.E. some require command line parameters such as AnMon509 "xboard"
each engine is a differnt animal.
PLEASE take the time to do this the "winboard" experience is wonderful, and
there are countless(???) numbers of engines and versions to install, all
offering a variety of strengths and styles.
99% are for FREE.
The initial learning curve can be frustrating, but the reward is great.
Visit Tim Mann's page (Founder of Winboard) and visit all links.
Crafty is freely available along with many many others. Also be sure to visit
Frank Quisinsky's News Ticker for the latest on new engines and versions that
are available.
Happy New Year "WinBoarder"
Paul
