Hi Thorsten,

I would be interested which of the above programs

- use which GUI
- use tablebases
- use what opening book

I am not sure for example which opening book Crafty will be using.
Maybe you can create a spreadsheet with the following informations included:

Program GUI Opening book Egtb
-----------------------------------------------------------
Nimzo 8 Fritz 6 Nz8Book.ctg Yes
Crafty 17.4 Fritz 6 ??? Yes
:

I would strongly recommend to let Genius 3 play instead of Genius 6.5.
From my own experience it is the strongest version.
As I suggested in a different thread i would like to provide Genius 3 with a
special opening book so that it has no problems to compete with todays top
programs ;-)

Greetings
Alex
