I am surprised to hear it because I thought that later versions are not weaker than genius3. I see no reason for the programmer to downgrade the engine. I understood from the ssdf list that there is only a small difference between genius3 and later versions but I did not think that the programmer downgrade the engine. I did not buy Genius4 5 or 6 because there was no significant improvement but I did not think that the change is negative. I also do not expect genius3 with Special book to be at the same level as the top programs because it is an old program(from 1994) and I know that there was significant improvement in other programs.
