ONE reason why genius elo decreased was of course the book. they ALL autoplayed against genius in those days. they all have anti-genius-book-lines in their opening book. genius was not only outsearched by null-move, outstyled by the aggressive changes of the opponents, but also outbooked. it was a kind of : ALL against Richard. pity was, that richard had no strong team on the other side to defend. and to strike back. fighting alone against the rest of the others using genius as a reference is a very depressive job. maybe ONE reason why frans morsch has problems in our days. today fritz is the reference. we will see if in a few months tiger or others are the reference. maybe shredder5 ?
