Nxe5 seems to be the best way for white to secure the draw.  White must
eliminate both of the pawns, even if it means giving up one of his pieces in the
process.

The position after Nxb6 is drawn.  In the line given above: 48.Nxb6 Nxb6 49.Kxb6
Kg3 50.Kxa5 Kxh4 is a tablebase draw.
