Replying to myself may seem a bit odd . . .

FYI,  I'm going to use the name "Freeboard" for this little invention of mine.
I ran a quick internet search and could find no prior use of the word in the
chess software context. The word has a youthful, free-spirited sense and I think
that's the right spirit.
