Maybe some SSDFers will buy dual systems. The problem is that there are so few programs utilizing the two processors. And you forget, I think, that the dual motherboards cost more. Cheap dual-Mobos all have some stability issues ,nothing crippling, but still. And why harp on processors, you get speedups from the periferals also: SCSI, VCDRAM, Graphics Cards, sound cards. I have a dual system running 2x600 (OCing it a bit) and would gladly trade it for a 1,2 GHz AMD system. But the two processors help when running a server or test SMP programming.
