Maybe it's unnecessary to say, but please use the WinBoard protocol to 100%... That protocol isn't here because of it's beauty but because "everybody" is using it. What I would hate to see is a near WinBoard protocol forcing me (and other programmers) to use flags and alternate code in order to conform to different standards. I already have a "Fritz-flag" and that's one too many... A wish list: 1) LAN or TCP/IP support (so we could get rid of auto232 at last) 2) Check each move if it's legal before sending it to the other player. 3) Possibility to easily send whatever command I wan't to my program and displaying that programs output in a separate window. 4) Automatic tournament feautures //Peter
