I agreed with Uri at first, but I think black has a strong case with Qd4. I don't think Qe7 is the best option. I took some time to spit out some analysis; it is a bit of a mess but it is in PGN format: (of course from 33...Qd4 which was not played) [Event "Rebel 11 - Van der Wiel Match"] [Site "Maastricht"] [Date "2001.01.02"] [Round "1"] [White "Rebel 11"] [Black "John van der Wiel"] [Result "1/2-1/2"] [Annotator "Jeroen I.M. van Dorp"] [FEN "6k1/1p3p1p/2p2Qp1/4p3/2q1Pn2/r1N1R3/2P2PPP/3B2K1 b - - 0 33"] [PlyCount "11"] 33... Maybe I'm getting old :) but I can get lost in the variation jungle these days. Basically the main line for me is 33...Qd4 34.g3 Rxc3 35.Re1 Ne6 36.Kf1 Nc5 37.f3 Nd7 38.Qe7 Kg7 which is a won position for black. The mate threat immobilizes the white rook *and* the white bishop, leaving the black night in the advantage position, and the black pawn advance possibility at the queenside. Only thing black has to watch is perpetual check or the like. Jeroen ;-}
