Let me start by saying "Kudos to Ed" for organising this event. This is just the kind of thing we all want to see, and I think most of us are grateful to Mr Schroder for going ahead and setting up what should be a fantastic spectacle for us all to watch. Unfortunately, the "live coverage" has turned it from an exciting afternoon's sport into a disappointment. The following areas are in urgent need of improvement: * updates are too infrequent. If the updates are going to be only once per hour, couldn't we be told when the next one is? * Updates regularly every 10 minutes would be even better * An estimate of the clock times for the two players would add to the atmosphere * How about a diagram of the latest position with every update * tell us what the event is like in general If these things could be accomplished by, say, next week, I'm sure that the spectators would be very appreciative. -g On January 02, 2001 at 07:29:48, Ernst Walet wrote: >Is the live coverage vd Wiel-Rebel not working.
