In netherlands internet is poor. Only in germany it's more poor.
I'm sure Ed is doing his best, as i already figured out previous
events where programs played GMs, it's better to not try to follow
it live.

At FICS they even went that far that they didn't broadcast the
FIDE world champ!

Anyway Ernst and me go tomorrow morning to the event (3 hours drive)
to watch it live. What i found weird was that some sites posted that
the first round was not open for public, which i found weird. Therefore
i go watch the second round with John having the white pieces.

www.chess.dts.nl:

"Six games will be played at the Centre Céramique, Avenue Céramique 50 in
Maastricht, The Netherlands on January 2-4 and 9-11, 2001. Playing hours are 1-7
p.m. (Dutch time). All games can be followed at the website with live comments.
The games 2-6 can be watched at the Centre Céramique. Entry is free. The time
control is forty moves in two hours and the remaining moves in one hour.
Therefore, it will be serious games at a normal tournament speed."
