Severi, I have been running my engine vs. the ECM (encyclopedia of chess middlegames) suite at 20 sec / move. I have also run it (less frequently) against the WAC (win at chess) and WCSAC (winning chess sacrifices) suites. I am using the 879 position ECM ... have heard some people prefer other subsets of this suite or some newer version of this suite... but have not looked into it. I run the test at 20 sec / move currently. These suites are available on my webpage http://wannabe.guru.org/scott/chess.html.
